A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of road closed: 30·3 perches. Adjoining Section 8, Block IX and Section 9, Block X. Situated in Town of Blueskin (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 11785.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142248, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of April 1954.

Closed Street in the City of Auckland Added to Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1919

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land being closed street, described in the First Schedule hereto to be added to the land acquired for the purposes of the Housing Act 1919, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Approximate areas of the pieces of closed street:

0 1 1·1 Allotment 232 District of Tamaki, being street
0 0 21·7 Allotment 233 closed in Proclamation 13462.

Situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District (City of Auckland, (Auckland R.D.)). (S.O. 36473.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143080, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1919
All that area in the City of Auckland, North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 79 acres 2 roods 8·94 perches, more or less, being, first, part Allotment 39, District of Tamaki, and, secondly, part Lots 238, 246, 256, and 264, and Lots 239, 240, 241, 247, 248, 249, 257, and 265, D.P. 20185, being part Allotment 38, District of Tamaki.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 3 acres 1 rood 5·8 perches.
Being Lot 115, D.P. S. 2602, being part Allotments 33, 34, 35, 36, 45, and 46, Suburbs of Tauranga, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 851, folio 132 (Auckland Land Registry).

Situated in the Borough of Tauranga.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block III, Waipahi Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was reserved for the purpose of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

Adding Land to the Abel Tasman National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of May 1954

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948, shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Abel Tasman National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Abel Tasman National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the first-mentioned Act.

Section 1, Square 12, situated in Block III, Totaranui Survey District (Tata Islands): Area, 10 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 1067.)

Pursuant to section 357 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby takes the land described in the Schedule hereto for the following public purposes, namely; education.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land, situated in the District of Avarua in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 1 acre 3 roods 29·2 perches, more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court Turamatuti Section 106D 3A, Rarotonga, as the same is delineated and coloured blue on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga under No. 57.
