of the Eastern Side of Pitt Street, off Hardy Street, in
the City of Nelson, Imposed by Order in Council Under
the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations
Act 1933

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
April 1954
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 14th day of July
1936, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 46 of the 16th
day of the same month at page 1327, and deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Nelson as No. 1003, authorizing the
laying-off of the street, now known as Pitt Street, described in
the Schedule to the said Order in Council, by varying the
condition with regard to the building line imposed by the
said Order in Council so that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land adjoining
the eastern side of the said street described in the said
Order in Council within a distance of 30 ft. from the centre
line of the said street.

Land Acquired Under Section 36, Valuation of Land Act 1951

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to subsection (8) of section 36 of the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
