Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the Borough of Taumarunui for Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Taumarunui and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Egg Marketing Authority—Alteration to Egg Grades
PURSUANT to regulation 59 of the Egg Marketing Authority Regulations 1953, the Egg Marketing Authority hereby fixes and determines that in respect of the grading of hen eggs in the Christchurch Egg Marketing Area, Timaru Egg Marketing Area, Dunedin Egg Marketing Area, and Invercargill Egg Marketing Area for the purpose of the said regulations those eggs shall be graded into one of the two grades following, that is to say—
(a) Large grade eggs, which shall include all eggs the weight of which is not less than 112/16 ounces.
(b) Small grade eggs, which shall include all eggs the weight of which is less than 112/16 ounces but not less than 14/16 ounces.
