Taking Land for Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North, and Revoking Previous Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 15th day of December 1953, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the 17th day of the same month at page 2012, taking land for housing purposes in the City of Palmerston North, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1954.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:

2 0 37·55 Lot 5, D.P. 16495, being part Suburban Section 991, Township of Palmerston North, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 355, folio 30 (Wellington Land Registry).

0 0 33·12 Lot 31, D.P. 16802, being part Suburban Section 992, Township of Palmerston North, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 563, folio 171 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District (City of Palmerston North).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of February 1954.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building-line condition imposed by Order in Council No. 2225 (Wellington Land Registry), for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 16·54 perches.

Being Lots 19, 20, 21, and 22, D.P. 16802, being part Suburban Section 990, Township of Palmerston North, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 540, folio 142 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District (City of Palmerston North).

Land Taken, Subject to a Building-line Condition and to a Drainage Easement, for Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building-line condition imposed by Order in Council No. 2172 and subject, as to the land first described in the said Schedule, to the drainage easement created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 357651 (Wellington Land Registry), for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1954.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1954.

Land Taken for a Municipal Depot in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a municipal depot and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1954.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 11 perches.

Being part land on D.P. 1954, being Allotment 24 and part Allotment 20 of Section 39, City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 90, folio 32 (Auckland Land Registry).
