CHANGE OF SURNAME
KNOW all men by these presents that I, LESLIE HERBERT CRANSTON, of Napier, Cook and Labourer, now or lately called LESLIE HERBERT TONG, do hereby for and on behalf of myself and my children and remoter issue absolutely renounce and abandon the use of my said former surname Tong and in lieu thereof do assume and adopt the surname of CRANSTON, and for the purpose of evidencing such change of name I hereby declare that I shall at all times hereafter in all actions, suits, and proceedings as well as in all dealings and transactions, matters and things whatsoever and upon all occasions use and subscribe the said name of LESLIE HERBERT CRANSTON as my name in lieu of the said name of LESLIE HERBERT TONG abandoned as aforesaid, and I therefore hereby expressly authorize and require all persons whomsoever at all times to designate describe and address me by such adopted name of LESLIE HERBERT CRANSTON.
In witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my adopted and substituted name of LESLIE HERBERT CRANSTON, this 6th day of February 1953.
