His Excellency The Governor-General In Council
Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
orders and declares that the portion of road described in
the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order
in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District,
situated in Blocks X and XIV, Waitoa Survey District,
commencing on the southern side of No. 9 Road at the
western corner of Lot 3, D.P. 21548, and proceeding thence in
a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately
90 chains and terminating at the southern corner of Section 9,
Block XIV, Waitoa Survey District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139377,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Recreation Reserve in Southland Land District Brought Under Part
II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act
1928

Present:
The Right Hon. S. G. Holland Presiding In Council
Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation
in the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and
declared to be subject to the provisions of part II of the said Act,
and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Makarewa Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHNLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 5
perches, more or less, being Sections 16, 17, and 18, Block III,
Town of Makarewa, and being all the land comprised and described
in certificate of title, Volume 111, folio 120 (Southland Registry).

Council, hereby revokes an Order in Council dated 19 April 1950
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 20th day of that
month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Makarewa Domain,
and hereby appoints

Edwin Skene Jenkins,
Victor Walter Mannering McKay,
Herbert John Smith,

to be the Makarewa Domain Board, having control of the land

the 5th day of February 1953, at 7 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
