matter of LONDON RESIDENTIAL FLATS, LIMITED (in
liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members of
the above-named company held on 27 November 1953
the following resolution was passed:

' It is hereby resolved, as a special resolution, that the
company be wound up voluntarily, and that RIVERS GEORGE
POWELL BROWNLESS, of Hamilton, Public Accountant, be and
is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such
winding-up.'

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 222 of the
Companies Act 1933, that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held
on the 25th day of November 1953, the following special
resolution was duly passed:

'1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
'2. That Mr JAMES FRANCIS FREW, of Hamilton, be
and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.'

of the above-named company, duly convened and held
on the 30th day of November 1953, the following special
resolution was passed:

'That the company be wound up voluntarily.'

NOTE.—All persons or companies having claims against
the company are required to send full particulars to the
undersigned on or before the 15th day of January 1954;
otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any
distribution of assets.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that THE TRADE AUXILIARY
COMPANY of NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED, has changed its
name to THE MERCANTILE GAZETTE of N.Z., LIMITED, and that
the new name was this day entered on my Register of
Companies in place of the former name.

LOWER HUTT CITY CORPORATION

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council
proposes by virtue of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Municipal Corporations Act 1933, and the Lower Hutt Borough
Empowering Act 1927, and all other Acts and powers it
thereunto enabling to execute a public work, to wit, the
extension of Hinemoa Street in the City of Lower Hutt, and
for the purposes of such public work the pieces of land more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto are required to
be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of
the said pieces of land so required to be taken, being Survey
Office Plan No. 22388, is deposited at the offices of the Lower
Hutt City Council, corner of Laings Road and High Street,
and is there open for inspection; and notice is hereby further
given that all persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land or
any one or more of them should if they have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said pieces of land or any one or more of
them set forth the same in writing and send such writing,
within forty (40) days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situate
as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE

  1. All that piece of land situate in the City of Lower
    Hutt containing one and seventy-seven one-hundredths perches
    (1.77 p.), be the same a little more or less, being part of
    Section 13 of the Hutt District, and being also part of
    Lot 11 on Deposited Plan No. 9966 and part of the land
    contained in certificate of title, Volume 441, folio 168,
    Wellington Registry; as the same is more particularly shown
    coloured orange on the said plan S.O. 22388.

  2. All that piece of land situate in the City of Lower
    Hutt containing one and six-tenths perches (1.6 p.), be the
    same a little more or less, being part of Section 13 of the
    Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 13 on Deposited
    Plan No. 9966 and part of the land contained in certificate
    of title, Volume 460, folio 215, Wellington Registry; as the
    same is more particularly shown coloured sepia on the said
    plan S.O. 22388.

  3. All that piece of land situate in the City of Lower
    Hutt containing two and four tenths perches (2.4 p.), be the
    same a little more or less, being part of Section 13 of the
    Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 12 on Deposited
    Plan No. 9966 and part of the land contained in certificate
    of title, Volume 448, folio 187, Wellington Registry; as the
    same is more particularly shown coloured blue on the said
    plan S.O. 22388.

  4. All those pieces of land situate in the City of Lower
    Hutt containing respectively three and two-tenths perches
    (3.2 p.) and one and eight-tenths perches (1.8 p.), more or
    less, being parts of Section 13 of the Hutt District, and
    being also parts of Lot 14 on Deposited Plan No. 9966 and
    part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 480,
    folio 33, Wellington Registry; as the same are more particularly
    shown coloured orange on the said plan S.O. 22388.

the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.
