PUSUANT to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act
1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions,
and relinquishment of temporary rank, of officers of the
Emergency Force:

Brigadier J. T. Burrows, D.S.O., E.D., M.A. (N.Z. Regular
Force). Dated 24 October 1953.

THE ROYAL N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS

2nd Lieutenant J. F. Dodson (3rd Armoured Regiment,
R.N.Z.A.C.) with seniority from 26 September 1952. Dated
27 October 1953.

PUSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air
Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General
has been pleased to approve the following appointments,
extension of engagement, promotions, transfers, terminations
of commissions, and resignations of officers of the Royal New
Zealand Air Force.

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH

Extension of Engagement

The engagement of the undermentioned officer is extended
for a period of three years, to be effective from the date shown
after his name:

Flight Lieutenant Basil John Townsend HEATH, A.F.C.
(70118). 1 April 1954.

Adjustment of Seniority

The seniority of Jack Howard FAULKNER (72280) in the
rank of Flying Officer is to date from 16 November 1952 in
lieu of 16 January 1953.

Terminations of Commissions

The temporary commissions of the undermentioned Acting
Pilot Officers (on prob.) are terminated:

Amendment

is transferred with his present rank and seniority from the
General Duties Branch, General Reserve, to the Administrative
and Supply Branch, Special Duties Division, Active Reserve,
for a period of four years. Dated 2 September 1953.

Termination of Commission

The commission of Flight Lieutenant Vincent Eric Wyles

Appointment

Peter Oswald KERSHAW (133672) is granted a commission
in the General Duties Branch for a period of four years,
