Declaring Lands in South Auckland, Wellington, and Otago
Land Districts, Vested in the Auckland, Wanganui,
Wellington, and Otago Education Boards as Sites for
Public Schools, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) it is provided that notwithstanding anything contained
in any other Act the Governor-General may from time to
time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part
of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required
for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and
thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may
be, shall vest in Her Majesty freed and discharged from
every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to
all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the
same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5
of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education
Board, the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education
Board, the land described in the Third Schedule hereto,
being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board,
and the lands described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, being
areas vested in the Otago Education Board, as sites for
public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen,
freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting
the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or
easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 6, Block XVI, Orahiri Survey District: Area, 3 acres,
more or less. (S.O. plan 11964.)

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown
land: 25·2 perches.
Being Lot 23, D.P. 1932, and being part Section 7, Evans Bay
District, and being part of the land in Proclamation No,
4294 (Wellington Land Registry).
Situated in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the First and Second
Schedules hereto is hereby taken for a post office; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 23rd day of November 1953.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
3·82 perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 6406, being part Block 46, Patangata
Crown Grant District.
Situated in the Borough of Waipawa (Hawke’s Bay R.D.).
