Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
J. B. Chibnall, Motor Services, Ltd., Rotorua turn-off on Matamata-Hamilton Highway, three miles and a half from Matamata, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises on Rotorua turn-off on Matamata-Hamilton Highway, three miles and a half from Matamata.
Rotorua Tractor Services, Ltd., 58 Haupapa Street, Rotorua, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at 58 Haupapa Street, Rotorua.
R. Park, Onepu Service Station, Te Teko-Kawerau Highway, Te Teko, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed service station premises at Te Teko-Kawerau Highway, Te Teko.
H. L. North, Wayside Garage, Great South Road, Te Kauwhata, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Great South Road, Te Kauwhata.
A. L. Williams, Headlands, Maketu, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Headlands, Maketu, and otherwise than through pumps from the same premises.

N. Whitley, Puketitiri, Hawke's Bay, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on hotel premises at Puketitiri, Hawke's Bay.
S. J. Brensell, Edievale, West Otago, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit otherwise than through pumps from cartage contracting premises at Edievale, West Otago.
The Checker Taxicab Society of N.Z., Ltd., 102 Newton Road, Auckland, has applied for permission to install and operate one additional pump at proposed service-station and garage premises at 102 Newton Road, Auckland, to make a new total of seven, such pump to be used for sales to the general public.
D. S. Cameron, Hawea Flat, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit otherwise than through pumps from premises at Hawea Flat.
Selwyn Motors Ltd., 41 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, has applied for permission to shift the company's four pumps from their present position at the Rangitikei Street entrance, to new positions at the Cuba Street entrance of its premises.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 26 November 1953, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, Box 2492, Wellington.

NOTE.-The Register is arranged alphabetically under the names of holders of licences; but when an individual holds a licence on behalf of a firm or registered company, the name of such firm or company, and not the name of the holder of the licence, is placed in its alphabetical order.
In the case of a firm or company the name of which consists of the Christian name or names (or initials) and surname or surnames of some person or persons, the index letter is the first letter of the first surname.
Further, where an individual holder of a licence trades under a particular name the trade-name appears in its alphabetical order.
