Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Oturehua Domain

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
November 1953
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
appoints
George William Barber,
William John Becker,
Herbert Russell Gilchrist,
James Irving McKnight,
James Terry McKnight,
Donald Edward Nicolson, and
Alexander Cameron Warnock
to be the Oturehua Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and hereby appoints Monday,
the 23rd day of November 1953, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Oturehua Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

SECTION 289, Block I, Blackstone Survey District : Area, 7 acres
and 20 perches, more or less.

Land Reserved in the Wellington Land District

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act 1948, it is enacted
that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart
as a reserve, notwithstanding that the same may be then held
under pastoral lease or pastoral occupation licence, any Crown land
for any purpose which in his opinion is desirable in the public interest,
and notice thereof shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette :
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 167 of the said Act, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby reserve, subject to the
reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land
Act 1948, the land in the Wellington Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written for recreation purposes.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 21 (formerly part Rural Section 67, Moutoa Block), Block
VII, Mount Robinson Survey District : Area, 1 acre 2 roods 15·7

WHEREAS by section 167 of the Land Act 1948, it is

Authorizing Erection of a Public Hall on Oneroa Domain, North
Auckland Land District

P URSUANT to subsection (1) (d) of section 52 of the Public
Reserves and Domains Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby authorize the Oneroa Domain Board to erect a
public hall on that portion of the Oneroa Domain under its control
described in the Schedule hereto.

PART Lot 237, Deposited Plan No. 22848, being part Te Huruhi
5D and 5F 1 Blocks, situated in Block I, Waiheke Survey District :

Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Notice of Intention to Issue an Order in Council Revoking the
Reservation for Recreation Purposes Over a Reserve in Block VI,
Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District

WHEREAS by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves and Domains Act 1928 (hereinafter referred to
as the said Act) it is provided that the Governor-General may from
time to time, by Order in Council, revoke the reservation over any
public reserve or part thereof, and thereupon the land comprised
therein shall, if vested in the Crown or in any local authority or
trustees deriving title from the Crown, become Crown land available
for disposal under the Land Act 1948 :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes but is not required
for that purpose and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over
the said land :
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (2) of section 7 of the
said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is
my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions
of subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the said Act declaring that the
reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be revoked.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4567, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District :
Area, 1 rood 2·8 perches, more or less. (Shown as Lot 7,
D.P. 13886, being part Rural Section 314). Part certificate of
