THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE [No. 58

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori
Land Amendment Act 1936 (Reureu Development Scheme)

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the
Maori Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori
Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described
in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 25th day of
January 1938 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 5
of 27 January 1938 at page 120, whereby the provisions of
Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 were applied
to, inter alia, the said land.

SCHEDULE

The following land in the Aotea Maori Land Court District,
Wellington Land District:

Land Block and Survey Area

Reureu 1, Section 23B 2 XIII, Onga 63 2 11

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori
Land Amendment Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs
hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto, a certain notice, dated the 26th day of
January 1938 and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 5
of 27 January 1938 at page 119, whereby the provisions of
Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1936 were applied
to, inter alia, the said land.

Claim for Registration of School Colours

The following claim for registration of school colours,
etc., has been made in accordance with the regulations
published in the New Zealand Gazette on 12 August 1915 and
amendments thereto.

The claim will be registered unless objection is received
by me within forty (40) days of the publication hereof.

OTARA INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, PAPATOETOE

Colours

Boys

Cap.-Grey; with school metal badge.

Belt.-Web 1¼ in. wide with a bright red band ⅜ in. wide
between 2 mid-grey bands.

Socks.-Mid-grey; on turn-over, one ½ in. bright red band
(upper), one ½ in. bright gold band (lower), with ½ in. between
bands.

Pull-over.-Mid-grey; around V-neck two bands ¼ in.
wide, the inner bright red, the outer bright gold, ¼ in. between.

Girls

Hat.-Summer: White panama trimmed with bright red
band, with school metal badge. Winter: Bright red beret,
with school metal badge.

Belt.-Web; bright red 1¼ in. wide.

Cardigan.-Mid-grey; on sleeves at wrist, two bands
⅜ in. wide, one bright red (upper), one bright gold (lower),
⅜ in. between; round waist, two bands ⅞ in. wide, one bright
red (upper), one bright gold (lower), ⅞ in. between.

Stockings.-Mid-grey; knee-length, honeycomb pattern
on turn-over.

Badge

A hawk surmounting a shield containing a cone with a tern
in flight and waves superimposed; to the left a Greek lamp.
to the right a sun. Immediately below the hawk the motto
'Whaka Pokai Tara'.
