Authorizing Erection of a Public Hall on Rotokakahi War Memorial Domain, North Auckland Land District

PURSUANT to subsection (1) (d) of section 52 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby authorize the Rotokakahi War Memorial Domain Board to erect a public hall on that portion of the Rotokakahi War Memorial Domain under its control described in the Schedule hereto.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—PORTION OF ROTOKAKAHI WAR MEMORIAL DOMAIN
PART Section 43, Block VIII, Whangape Survey District: Area, 5.2 perches, more or less. Subject to the reservations and conditions imposed by section 59 of the Land Act 1948, and subject also to the reservations imposed by section 8 of the Coal Mines Amendment Act 1950. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1177A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 35343s.)

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Petone Borough Council

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Scenery Preservation Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby vests the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act) in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the 22nd day of May 1962 (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the Petone Borough Council.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—PART PERCY SCENIC RESERVE SECTION 544, Hutt District, situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District: Area, 10 acres 2 roods 16.4 perches, more or less.
