A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway.

Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Onehunga. (S.O. 37875.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12452, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of October 1953.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 6·35 perches.
Being Lot 9, D.P. 15452, being part of Section 12, Watts Peninsula District.

Situated in the City of Wellington, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 511, folio 187 (Wellington Land Registry).

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for defence purposes, is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (line store); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of October 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 2 acres 9·8 perches.
Being part Allotment 49, Takapuna Parish.
Situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 37553.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140821, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers’ dwellings, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of October 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 23·58 perches.
Being part Lot 71, Block I, D.P. 2767, being part Section 2, Wainui District.
