Revoking the Reservation Over Land in Canterbury Land District Reserved for Plantation Purposes
[L.s.] C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (4) of section 171 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act 1924 and section 19 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1950, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for plantation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1579 and part Rural Section 16034, situated in Block VIII, Christchurch Survey District: Area, 114 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 229. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 49135x, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of October 1953.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948
[L.S.] C W M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby claim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 25, Deposited Plan No. S. 931, being parts Allotments 356, 357, 358, and 359, Town of Hamilton East, situated in Block II, Hamilton Survey District: Area, 1 rood 5.6 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 960, folio 6. (S.O. plan 34522.)

Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908
[L.S.] C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
Whereas the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act and subject to the provisions thereof.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 61, Block VI, Waiopohu Survey District: Area, 1 acre and 22 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 14802.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General. and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1953.
