LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE
EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Volume 227, folio 168, Auckland Registry, for 36.4 perches, more or less, being part of Lots 13 and 14, Deposited Plan 4866, and being portion of a Block situated in Otahuhu Survey District called Fairburns Old Land Claim 269A, in the name of EDWARD WILLIAM STEPHENSON now deceased but formerly of Paparoa, School Teacher, having been lodged with me together with an application for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate of title on the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1953, £45,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £45,500 authorized to be raised by the Upper Hutt Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of completing the work included in the Water Supply Loan 1950 and additions to the original scheme, the said Upper Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninetyeight hundredths of a penny (0.98d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Upper Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at the ordinary meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council held in the Council Chambers, Main Road, Upper Hutt, on Wednesday, the 30th day of September 1953.
