Recreation Reserves in Wellington Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of September 1953
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserves for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the Trentham Memorial Park and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Lot 2, Deposited Plan No. 16179, being part Sections 88 and 89, Hutt District, and part closed road, situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District: Area, 65 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 593, folio 146.
Also Lot 26, Deposited Plan No. 15910, being part Sections 88 and 89, Hutt District, and part closed road, situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 20 perches, more or less. Part certificates of title, Volume 348, folio 201, and Volume 525, folio 10. Subject to right-of-way created by Conveyance 54243 (91/953) appurtenant to the land in certificate of title, Volume 190, folio 70.

Recreation Reserve in South Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928

Pursuant to section 34 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for recreation in the South Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Te Teko Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Te Teko Domain Board.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Lichfield Domain

Henery Joseph Johnson, and
Peter Menzies Sneddon
to be the Lichfield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and hereby appoints Monday, the 26th day of October 1953, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Lichfield Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

The member of the Hutt County Council representing the Mangaroa Riding, ex officio,
to be a Domain Board, having control of the Trentham Memorial Park described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby appoints Tuesday, the 6th day of October 1953, at 9.30 o'clock a.m., as the time when, and the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
