Cancelling the Vesting in Trustees of a Reserve for a Public
Cemetery

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
September 1953
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is the
Hauturu Public Cemetery, which is vested in trustees
appointed under the provisions of the Cemeteries Act 1908:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said
land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the
trustees have duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 10
of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the vesting
in the trustees of the Hauturu Public Cemetery of the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the
Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the reservation
for a site for a public cemetery over the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and hereby declares that the said
land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for
disposal under the Land Act 1948.

Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District Brought Under
Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for
recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form
part of the Ranfurly Domain, and shall be managed,
administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the
Ranfurly Domain Board.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
LOT 4, Deposited Plan No. 5705, situated in Town of Ranfurly
Extension No. 10, being part Section 8, Block XI, Town of
Ranfurly: Area, 31·68 perches, more or less. All certificate

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby orders and declares that the reserve for
recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall
hereafter be known as the Rosewill Domain, and be managed,
administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

RESERVE 3696, situated in Block XII, Pareora Survey District:
Area, 5 acres, more or less. Subject to the reservations and
