Amending a Licence Authorizing Norman Eric Kemp, of Whangamomona, Motor Engineer, to Erect Certain Electric Lines

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby further amends, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated the 10th day of November 1948, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 11th day of the same month, at page 1370, authorizing William Alexander Russ, of Whangamomona, Garage-proprietor, to erect certain electric lines, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 14th day of January 1952, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 24th day of the same month, at page 59, the rights, powers, and privileges under the first mentioned Order in Council having been assigned by the said William Alexander Russ to Norman Eric Kemp, of Whangamomona, Motor Engineer.
SCHEDULE
Clause 3 of the conditions thereof is deleted, and the following clause is substituted therefor:
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (i) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The normal rated pressure shall be 110 volts.

Pursuant to section 6 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland and be under the control and management of the Auckland City Council.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Donovan Street in the City of Auckland

Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 65 ft. 6 ins.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 12 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 20689, and part Lot 5, Deeds Plan 835, being parts Allotment 75, Parish of Titirangi. Authorizing the Laying-off of Sugden Street (Extension) in the City of Christchurch, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 141155, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 ft. from the centre line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, being an extension of Sugden Street, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15.5 perches, more or less, being part Lot 11, D.P. 11929, being part Rural Section 154. The Whakatane High School Board of Governors Order 1953

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Whakatane High School Board of Governors Order 1953.
- The constitution of the Board of Governors of the Whakatane High School prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914 is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils who reside in the Borough of Whakatane;
(c) Three members elected by the parents of the pupils who reside outside the Borough of Whakatane;
(d) One member appointed by the Governor-General.
