IT is hereby notified that orders of adoption as set out in the Schedule hereunder have been made by the Maori Land Court under the provisions of the Maori Land Act 1931.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Pharmacy Industry

G. A. Hubbard, care of Urgent Pharmacy, 76 Victoria Street, Hamilton, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at corner of Lorne Street and Great South Road, Melville, Hamilton.

C. A. Hayward, Uxbridge Road, Howick, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Ostend, Waiheke Island.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit

H. R. Williams, Bold Street, Katikati, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage and service-station premises at Bold Street, Katikati.

B. Symmans, Collins Avenue, Linden, Wellington, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at 9 Collins Avenue, Linden, Wellington.

A. Saunders, Main Road Wainui Beach, Gisborne, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Main Road, Wainui Beach, Gisborne.

T. Edge, Waitangi Street, Tokomaru Bay, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Waitangi Street, Tokomaru Bay.

L. F. Goodwin, Waiomu Supply Stores, Main Coromandel-Whitianga Highway, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Main Coromandel-Whitianga Highway.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., High Street, Oxford, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit otherwise than through pumps from the depot on company’s own premises at High Street, Oxford.

D. G. and G. W. Merrie, Tuhoe Street, Taneatua, have applied for permission to shift three pumps from their present position on the corner of the main roads to Waimana and Whakatane to a new site on a drive-through further back on the licensees’ property.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 17 September 1953, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.
