1927, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby notify and

Revoking Declaration of Lake Mangamate, in the Auckland Acclimati-
zation District, as a Sanctuary Under the Animals Protection
and Game Act 1921-22

PURSUANT to the powers conferred upon me by subsection
(1) of section 6 of the Animals Protection and Game Act
1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant
dated 22 January 1942 and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of 29 January 1942, at page 412, declaring a certain area of land at
Lake Mangamate to be a sanctuary for the purpose of the said Act,
the said area as described in the Schedule hereto being no longer
required as a sanctuary under the said Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Franklin County of approximately 100 acres,
being the Crown land known as Mangamate Lake, abutted by the
subdivisions of Allotment 115, Mangatawhiri Parish, and situated
in Block XIV, Opaheke Survey District, bounded as follows :
Towards the west generally by Lots 2 and 6, D.P. 24004 ; towards the
north generally by the lands comprised and described in certificates
of title, Volume 574, folio 4, and Volume 544, folio 215, Auckland
Registry, and towards the east and south by Lot 1, D.P. 23338,
the aforesaid lots and titles being portions of Allotment 115,
Mangatawhiri Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked I.A. 52/91, deposited in the Head Office of the
Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged
red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 19th day of January 1953.

Control of Pollution in Kapuni Stream

PURSUANT to section 62 of the Health Act 1920, His Excellency
the Governor-General hereby places under the control of the
Manaia Town Board all that portion of the Kapuni Stream and its
tributaries from the intake of the Manaia Town Board's water
supply to the intake of the Hawera Borough Council's water supply,
for the purpose of preventing the pollution of that river.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 20th day of January 1953.
