Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 5th day of July 1920 and gazetted on the 8th day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SECTION 4, Block XVI, Mawheraiti Survey District: Area, 3,200 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 9751.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of January 1953.

Lands Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Lands Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being lands subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown lands available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total area of 1 acre and 22.43 perches, more or less, being Lots 39 and 41, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, under No. 15340, being part Section 77, Taihape Village Settlement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of January 1953.

Crown Land Set Apart for the Development of Water-power (Opunake Substation) in Block VII, Opunake Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water power (Opunake substation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of February 1953.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 3 acres and 3.1 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 4890, being part Ngatimaronga Block, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 117, folio 121 (Taranaki Land Registry).
Situated in Block VII, Opunake Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of January 1953.
