Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor Spirit
Transport (North Canterbury), Ltd., Ivory Street, Rangiora, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage and service-station premises at Ivory Street, Rangiora.
Checker Taxicab Society of N.Z., Ltd., corner Flower Street and New North Road, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from eight pumps to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises at 102 Newton Road, Auckland, sales to be restricted to members, employees, and staff of the company.
G. P. Walker, corner School Road and Church Street, Tuakau, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station and garage premises at the corner of School Road and Church Street, Tuakau.
F. C. Aickin, Hillcrest Motors, Cambridge Road, Hamilton, has applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Cambridge Road, Hamilton.
T. N. Hunwick and N. G. Gaylor, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, have applied for a licence to resell motor spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Great South Road, Ngaruawahia.

Shamrock Auto Service, Ltd., 157 Victoria Street, Auckland, has applied for permission to take over the motor spirits retail licence of W. W. Lory, covering sales from one pump at 18 Kirk Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland, and to transfer the retail selling point to new garage premises at 157 Victoria Street, Auckland.
R. Collings, Storekeeper, Big Omaha, Whangateau, has applied for permission to take over the motor spirits retail licence of I. Railey, covering sales through one pump at store premises at Big Omaha, and to change the retail selling point to new store premises ¾ mile along the road in the direction of Leigh.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 10 September 1953, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
