CORRIGENDUM
In the Proclamation dated the 14th day of May 1953, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28 of the 21st
day of May 1953 at page 770, taking leasehold estate in land
for the purposes of the South Island Main Trunk Railway
(South End) (66 miles to 73 miles), in Block X, Hundalee
Survey District, for John McLean, read John McLean Reid.

Land Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the
land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently
reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect
to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve
under the said Act and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 93 (formerly part Sections 19, 27, and 30), Block I,
Hawkesbury Survey District: Area, 46 acres 2 roods 38 perches,
more or less. (S.O. plan 20034.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 20th day of August 1953.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Scenic Reserve in the North
Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value
thereon:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Scenery
Preservation Amendment Act 1910, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 3 and 4, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District: Total
area, 141 acres, more or less. (S.O. plans 12656 and 12666.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 19th day of August 1953.
