A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portions of public reserves described in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for road-
diversions in connection with the South Island Main Trunk Railway (South End) (66 m. to 73 m.).

Constitution of Board Managers of Pukekohe High School

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of
August 1953
Present:
THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
REGULATIONS
-
These regulations may be cited as the Pukekohe High
School Regulations 1953. -
The provisions of Part III of the regulations for
Manual and Technical Instruction shall, with the necessary
modifications, apply in the election and appointment of
managers of the Pukekohe High School:
Provided that the Board of Managers of the Pukekohe
High School shall fix the date for the election of the
members to be elected to the Board in accordance with
the foregoing Order. -
Notwithstanding anything contained in the regulations
for Manual and Technical Instruction the members of the
Board shall retire as follows:
(a) On the date in the year 1954, and on the date in
every third year thereafter, fixed by the Board
in accordance with the aforesaid regulations, the
following managers shall retire from office:
The manager appointed by the Pukekohe
Borough Council:
The manager appointed by the Auckland
Education Board:
The manager appointed by the Franklin
County Council:
(b) On the date in the year 1955, and on the date in
every third year thereafter, fixed by the Board
in accordance with the aforesaid regulations, the
four managers elected by the parents of the
pupils attending the school shall retire from office:
(c) On the date in the year 1956, and on the date in
every third year thereafter, fixed by the Board
in accordance with the aforesaid regulations, the
following managers shall retire from office:
The manager appointed by the Old Pupils'
Association:
The manager elected by the school committees
of the schools mentioned in the above Order:
The manager appointed by the Governor-
General:
The manager co-opted by the Board.

PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
order and regulations:
ORDER
THE constitution of the Board of Managers to be appointed
or elected for Pukekohe High School in accordance with the
regulations for Manual and Technical Instruction* is hereby
varied so that the Board shall hereafter consist of:
(a) One manager appointed by the Governor-General:
(b) One manager appointed by the Auckland Education
Board:
(c) Four managers elected by the parents of the pupils
attending the school, of which managers one shall
be a woman:
(d) One manager appointed by the Franklin County
Council:
(e) One manager appointed by the Pukekohe Borough
Council:
(f) One manager appointed by the Old Pupils'
Association of the school:
(g) One manager elected by the school committees of
the Patumahoe, Mauku, Puni, Paerata, Pukekohe,
Pukekohe East, Bombay, Harrisville, Buckland,
Tuakau, Ramarama, Ararimu, Whangarata,
Pokeno, Mangatawhiri, and Mercer public schools,
and the Pukekohe Maori School, and such other
schools as the Minister of Education, by notice
in the Gazette, may from time to time specify:
(h) One manager appointed by the Board of Managers
itself if and when it thinks fit to make the
appointment.
