A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motor-way in Blocks II and V, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a motor-way desired to be constructed in Blocks II and V, Belmont Survey District (viz., a portion of the Wellington-Foxton motor-way) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within the limits shown edged red on the plan marked P.W.D. 140841, referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
COMMENCING in a public road (Princess Street) opposite Lot 8, D.P. 1900, and Lot 9, D.P. 12593, in Block V, Belmont Survey District, at a point marked 8 miles 13 chains on the P.W.D. plan 140841, hereinafter referred to, being the point marked 6 miles 35 chains on plan P.W.D. 140042 on the middle-line of a portion of the Wellington-Foxton motor-way defined in a Proclamation dated 7 May 1953, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette No. 27 of 14 May 1953, at pages 739-740, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally for a distance of about 60 decimal 75 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz.: Lots 12, 13, and 14, D.P. 1900, being part Section 61, Porirua District, Block V, Belmont Survey District; Lots 17 and 18, D.P. 1900, being part Section 61, Porirua District, Block II, Belmont Survey District, Section 108, Porirua District, part Kenepuru Block No. 2A, Aotea Block No. 6, Aotea Block No. 5, and Aotea Block No. 4, all in Block II, Belmont Survey District; and terminating in the said Aotea Block No. 4, Block II, Belmont Survey District, on the eastern boundary line of No. 34 Wellington Centennial Main Highway approximately 1 chains north of the boundary between Aotea Blocks Nos. 4 and 5 at a point marked 8 miles 73 decimal 75 chains on the plan hereinafter referred to, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140841, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Public Reserve Set Apart for a Police Station in the Borough of Te Awamutu

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant- General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a police station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the public reserve set apart: 1 rood 19Β·5 perches. Being Section 162, Village of Te Awamutu. Situated in Block IV, Punia Survey District (Borough of Te Awamutu) (Auckland R.D.). In the South Auckland Land District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140892, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
