A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of August 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 20 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 9990, being part Rural Section 4463. Situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8618.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 140866, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of August 1953.
