LOWER HUTT CITY CORPORATION
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes by virtue of the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations' Act 1923 and the amendments thereof respectively and under and by virtue of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling to execute a public work, to wit the widening of Knights Road and Laings Road in the City of Lower Hutt, and for the purpose of such public work the piece of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said piece of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Council situate at the corner of Laings Road and High Street in the said city and is there open for inspection; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said piece of land should, if they have any well-founded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said piece of land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situate as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Lower Hutt containing four and fifty-one one-hundredths perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District and part of the land shown on Deposited Plan No. 1579 and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 162, folio 185 (Wellington Registry), and being all the land shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 22887.

Subscriptions.—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance. Single copies of the Gazette as follows:— For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof; postage, 2d.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Note: This publication is no longer issued as a supplement to the New Zealand Gazette.
Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:—
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, £1 10s. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, £3 3s. per calendar year in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
