WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1920 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work (namely, the construction and formation of a public road passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to hereunder, and situated in the Waitakere Riding of the County of Waitemata) and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the Council Chambers, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and are open to inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 2 acres 2 roods 35 perches; part John Brigham's Claim; shown on S.O. plan 37565; coloured yellow on plan. Being situated in Blocks IX and X, Waitemata Survey District, and in the Land District of North Auckland.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt County Council requires to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work (namely, a site for a pump house).
A plan of the said piece of land is open for inspection at the offices of Messrs Brandon, Ward, and Watts, Solicitors, 150-152 Featherston Street, Wellington. All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of the said piece of land and to send such notice, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Hutt County Council, Bowen House, Wellington.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work--to wit, the formation of a road--for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, sections 22 and 23.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton East.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Proposal to Raise Fire Appliances Loan 1953 (£3,500)
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and by all other Acts and powers thereunto enabling it, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Fire Appliances Loan (£3,350) 1953, authorized under the above-mentioned powers, the said Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three twenty-sixths of a penny (3/26d.) in the pound (£) (on the basis of unimproved values) on all the rateable property in the Borough of Mount Maunganui, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be repayable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 21st day of July 1953.
