THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land
Amendment Act 1936 (Parihaka Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment
Act 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares
the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to
Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

THE following land situated in the Aotea Maori Land Court
District, Taranaki Land District:
Parihaka No. 51 Block, containing 187 acres 1 rood
13 perches, more or less, situated in Block XIII, Cape
Survey District, and being all the land comprised and
described in a Partition Order of the Maori Land Court
dated the 10th day of June 1932.
Dated at Wellington, this 17th day of July 1953.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act
1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the
said Act.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area of land in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land
Court District containing 26 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or
less, called or known as Lot 229A, Parish of Whangamarino,
situated in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District, and being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate of
title, Volume 246, folio 128.
Dated at Wellington, this 20th day of July 1953.
