Land Taken at Tokoroa for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

ALL that land containing a total area of 2 acres 7.2 perches, more or less, situate in Block VIII, Paterere South Survey District, being Lots 2, 3, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, 34, and 45, D.P. S1668, being part Tokoroa No. 1 Block and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1059, folio 221s (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of July 1953.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 31.9 perches, being part Section 28, Block I, Hunua Survey District.

Situated in Kaitieke County. (S.O. 22899.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12290, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of July 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 3 roods 7.5 perches.

Being Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11, D.P. 4011, being part Section 15, Block XXIII, Town of East Gore, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 165, folio 259 (Southland Land Registry).
