SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Regulations
    1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as
    applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the company shall be five
    pounds (Β£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (Β£5).
  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from
    the 1st day of June 1953.
  4. The Master of every vessel discharging ballast at the
    said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and
    deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be
    approved by the Minister for that purpose.

Altering Representation of Certain Districts on the

Wellington Harbour Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
June 1953
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the First Schedule to the Harbours Act 1950
(hereinafter called the said Act), provides, inter alia,
that one member of the Wellington Harbour Board shall
be elected by the electors of the counties of Hutt and Makara,
of the Borough of Eastbourne, and of the Town District of
Johnsonville:

And whereas the Town District of Johnsonville has become
merged in the City of Wellington and His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, by Order in Council dated the 26th
day of May 1953, ordered and declared that one member of
the Wellington Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors
of the counties of Hutt and Makara and of the Borough of
Eastbourne in lieu of the election of one member by the electors
of the counties of Hutt and Makara, of the Borough of
Eastbourne, and of the Town District of Johnsonville:

And whereas certain areas of the county of Makara have
been constituted a Town District under the name of the
Tawa Flat Town District and the said Town District thereby
excluded from the county of Makara:

And whereas it is expedient to make the necessary
provision with respect to the representation of the said
combined district of the Wellington Harbour Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on him by section 30 of the said Act and of all other powers
and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby orders and declares that one member of the Wellington
Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors of the counties
of Hutt and Makara, of the Borough of Eastbourne, and of
the Town District of Tawa Flat in lieu of the election of one
member by the electors of the counties of Hutt and Makara
and of the Borough of Eastbourne, and hereby selects and
appoints the Hutt County Council to be the principal authority
for the purpose of such elections by the electors of the said
combined district.

The Raglan Cemetery Order 1953

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day
of June 1953
Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Cemeteries Act 1908, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Raglan Cemetery
    Order 1953.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    July 1953.
  2. The powers of appointing and removing trustees for
    the Raglan Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule
    hereto, are hereby delegated to the Raglan County Council.

SCHEDULE
RAGLAN CEMETERY
ALL that area situated in Block I, Karioi Survey District,
South Auckland Land District, containing 2 acres and 16
perches, more or less, being Lots 6 and 7 of Section 13, Town
of Raglan.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
consents to the Raglan County Council stopping the portions
of road described in the Schedule hereto.
