Change of Working Frequency at Major Coast Stations
MARINERS are advised that the working frequency of the
Post Office stations at Auckland, Wellington, and
Awarua will be changed from 2162 kc/s to 2206 kc/s on
20 July 1953 at 0001 N.Z.S.T.

Notice to Persons Affected by Application for Licences Under
Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936
Pharmacy Industry
L. M. Rush-Munro, 14 Wanganui Avenue, Herne Bay,
Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy
at Brook Street (near junction with Shakespeare Road),
Takapuna, Auckland.
E. C. Gooch, 17A The Parade, St. Heliers, Auckland, has
applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Te Atatu
Road (near Te Atatu Post Office), Te Atatu.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
C. O. Lamplough, corner Ohura and Esk Roads, Stratford,
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps
to be installed on proposed service-station and garage premises,
corner Ohura and Esk Roads, Stratford.
King Spiers and Co., Ltd, Raurimu, has applied for a
licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed
on garage and workshop premises at Raurimu.
Auto Valet Services, Ltd, 80 Great North Road, Grey
Lynn, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-
sprit from three pumps to be installed on car valet-service
premises at 80 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
Blue Star Taxis (Invercargill), Ltd, 77 Tweed Street,
Invercargill, has applied for permission to take over J. Pagan's
petrol reselling licence for one pump installed at 77 Tweed
Street, Invercargill, and to establish a service-station and
garage there.
E. A. Wood, Huiroa, via Stratford, has applied for
permission to take over petrol reselling licence for one pump
from Miss M. P. Stanford at Huiroa, and to re-site the pump
at concrete works premises about one mile distant.
F. A. Parker, Clark Road, Papakura, has applied for
permission to change the retail selling point of two pumps from
Clark Road to new service-station and garage premises on the
corner of South Street and Great South Road, Papakura, a
distance of 400 yards.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry
on these applications should, not later than 2 July 1953,
submit any written evidence and representations they may
desire to tender. All communications should be addressed
to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, Box 2492, Wellington.
