A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the additional land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a University college; and I also
declare that this proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 22nd day of June 1953.

for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the
Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John
Thomas Flynn of Waimate, Farmer, under and by virtue of
Crown Lease, Volume 181, folio 95 (Canterbury Land
Registry), and the leasehold estate in the land secondly and
thirdly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her
Majesty the Queen by Arthur Gordon Meynell, of Waimate,
Farm Labourer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease, Volume
205, folio 2 (Canterbury Land Registry), are hereby taken
for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of
June 1953.

proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described
in the Second Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
0·61 perches.
Being Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 16522, being part Section 221,
Hutt District; and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 563, folio 23
(Wellington Land Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 0·62 perches.

Section 221, Hutt District.
Situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District
(Hutt County). (S.O. 22768.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139116,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.
