CORRIGENDUM

In the New Zealand Gazette No. 27, dated 14 May 1953, page 760, under the heading 'Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936', notice was given of an application having been made by--

'C. H. Moore and E. G. Gilbert, Leven Street, Naseby, for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on taxi and transport premises in Leven Street, Naseby.'

This notice is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted therefore:--

'C. H. Moore and E. G. Gilbert, Naseby, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on taxi and transport premises in Derwent Street, Naseby.'

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application should, not later than 11 June 1953, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 2492, Wellington.

Leasehold Estate in Land in the City of Auckland Taken for the Auckland University College

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Arthur Fair, of Auckland, a Judge of Her Majesty's Supreme Court in New Zealand, for a term of ninety-nine years from the 2nd day of December 1875, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 142A (Auckland Registry), is hereby taken for the Auckland University College; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1953.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land, being Lots 13 and 14 of Subsection 1 of a subdivision of Section 13 of the City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in the Land Transfer Provisional Register Books in Volume 5, folios 13 and 14 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of May 1953.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a surfaceran's cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1953.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 16 acres 1 rood 13 perches.

Being part Whangaparaoa 2D Block.

Situated in Block I, Matakaoa West Survey District. (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 2032.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139073, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of May 1953.
