Land Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XXXI, Hokonui Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of January 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—
A. R. P. Being
0 2 0 Lots 15 and 16, D.P. 40, being part Section 560; coloured blue.
0 1 27 Lot 18, D.P. 40, being part Section 560; coloured orange.

Situated in Block XXXI, Hokonui Survey District (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 6051.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 138469, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of January 1953.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of January 1953.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for housing purposes: 1 rood 1·4 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 11846, being part Rural Section 292; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for road: 2·6 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 11846, being part Rural Section 292; coloured red.

All situated in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8553.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139175, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of January 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 11·2 perches.

Being Lots 15, 16, and 17, D.P. 6742, being part Reserve “A”, Town of Oamaru, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 341, folio 209 (Otago Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post-and-telegraph purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of January 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 34·2 perches.

Being Sections 7 and 8, Block IX, Town of Clyde, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 327, folio 118 (Otago Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 71 of the Fire Services Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire-station, and shall vest in the Rotorua Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of January 1953.
