CHANGE OF SURNAME

KNOW all men by these presents (which are intended to be enrolled in the Registry of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington) that I, MARIA VASILIU, of Wellington in New Zealand, Spinster, now lately called MARIA VASILIU-NESSIS, do hereby for and on behalf of myself absolutely renounce and abandon the use of my former surname of VASILIU-NESSIS and in lieu thereof to assume and adopt the surname of VASILIU so that I may henceforth be known not by my former name of VASILIU-NESSIS but my assumed surname of VASILIU: And for the purpose of evidencing such change I hereby declare that I shall at all times henceforth in all actions and proceedings, dealings and transactions, and upon all occasions use and subscribe the said surname of VASILIU in lieu of my former surname of VASILIU-NESSIS: And I hereby expressly authorize and request all persons at all times henceforth to designate and address me by the said assumed surname of VASILIU accordingly.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

THE SOUTHLAND HOSPITAL BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A HOSPITAL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland Hospital Board proposes to take the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 for a hospital: And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Southland Hospital Board, Dee Street, Invercargill, and is open for public inspection during office hours: And also that all persons affected by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-founded objection to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the 9th day of May 1953 (being the date of the first publication of this notice) to the office of the Southland Hospital Board addressed to the undersigned.

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title to Shares Nos. 473927 to 473996, both inclusive, in lieu of Original Certificate No. 1342 issued in the name of RITA ALICE JONES, of 330 Armagh Street, Christchurch, and the said ALICE JONES has made a statutory declaration that the original certificate of title to the said shares has been lost.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1920 and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Rodney County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute certain works—namely, the construction and formation of a public road passing through or adjoining the several parcels of land referred to hereunder and situated in the Matakana Riding of the County of Rodney—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the Council Chambers, Warkworth, and are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary working hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the Council Chambers.
