Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the
Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that
the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said
regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade
motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned,
but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—

A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940, to the person described in Column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of his employment for the employer
described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to
drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Pharmacy Industry

for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 160 Somme Parade,

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
J. E. O'Connell, corner Te Awe Ave and Albert Streets,
Palmerston North, has applied for a licence to resell motor-
sprit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-
station and garage premises at the corner of Te Awe Ave and
Albert Roads, Palmerston North.

A. J. Holmes, corner Great South Road and Mahia Road,
Manurewa, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit
from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station
and garage premises at the corner of Great South and Mahia
Roads, Manurewa.

Duck Bros., Ltd., corner West Coast and Great North

resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed

section in the direction of the corner of Te Atatu and Great
North Roads, where a double drive-through is proposed.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry
on these applications should, not later than 4 June 1953, sub-
mit any written evidence and representations they may desire

Exemption of Motor-vehicle From Annual Licence Fees
Pursuant to clause (5) of the Second Schedule to the
Motor Vehicles (Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations
1948, as amended by regulation 2 of the Motor Vehicles
(Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations 1948, Amendment
No. 3,
the motor-vehicle described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby exempted from annual licence fees under Part II
of the Transport Act 1949, while owned by F. G. Amor,
Agricultural Contractor, of Sefton, and designed for the
carriage of a header harvester and used solely for the carriage
of a header harvester and associated equipment.

SCHEDULE

with solid tires.
