Additional Land Near Otira Taken for the Purposes of the Midland Railway

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Midland railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
1 rood 10·8 perches.
Being part Section 2038, Block X, Otira Survey District.
Situated in Westland County. (S.O. 4616.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.Q. 12158, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1953.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
36 perch.
Being Section 56, Township of Glenavy, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 178, folio 12 (Canterbury Registry).
Situated in Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District, Waimate County.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of May 1953.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the drainage rights granted by Deed of Conveyance No. 35859 (38/81), for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of May 1953.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:
1 rood.
Being part Section 653, City of Nelson, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 52, folio 258 (Nelson Land Registry), (limited as to parcels).
Situated in the City of Nelson.
