NEW ZEALAND—NORTH ISLAND—AUCKLAND HARBOUR
Waitemata River—Amendment to Prohibited Anchorage Boundary—Lights Established
(Former Notice N.Z. 62 of 1952) Admiralty Notice 2321/1952 Position: Birkenhead Wharf. Lat. 36° 49'·3 S., long. 174° 44' E. (approx.).

Details: The eastern boundary of the prohibited anchorage is to be amended as follows:—

(a) Rear Beacon: 311° distant 780 ft. from south-west corner of Birkenhead Wharf a white triangular beacon exhibiting a fixed red light.
Front Beacon: 160° distant 125 ft. from rear beacon a white triangular beacon exhibiting a fixed green light.
A pecked line is to be inserted from position (a) in a 160° direction to the south shore.
The western boundary is marked by similar beacons.
(b) Rear Beacon: 304° distant 2,530 ft. from south-west corner of Birkenhead Wharf exhibiting a fixed red light.
Front Beacon: 157° distant 500 ft. from rear beacon exhibiting a fixed green light.

NEW ZEALAND—SOUTH ISLAND—OTAGO HARBOUR
Dredging in Progress
DREDGING operations are at present in progress during daylight hours in Victoria Channel from No. 38 Beacon to Ravensbourne Wharf on either side of the channel.
Mariners are advised to give one long blast on approaching the dredge and to pass on the side that a black ball is shown.

NEW ZEALAND—NORTH ISLAND—AUCKLAND APPROACH
The Noises—Light Established; Name to be Inserted
(Repeating Admiralty Notice to Mariners No. 933)
(1) A light, Gp. Fl. (3) W.R. 15 sec. 124 ft. 10 M., is to be inserted on the centre of the 114 ft. islet in position 36° 42' 30" S., 175° 00' 25" E. (approx.). It is shown from a white tower 14 ft. in height.
The height shown against the islet is to be expunged.
On chart 1896 sectors are to be inserted as follows: White from 232° to 279°, red thence to 289°, white thence to 061°, red thence to 232°.
(2) 'Green Noises' is to be inserted against the islet in (1).
On charts 3797 and 2543 'The Noises' shown close E. of the islet is to be expunged.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1925, the registration of the Wellington Wool Scourers’ Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1665, situated at Palmerston North, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
