PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of May 1953.

Land Taken, Subject as to Part to a Drainage Easement, for Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North, and Previous Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 16th day of October 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 80 of the 18th day of October 1951, at page 1517, taking land subject as to part to a drainage easement for housing purposes in the City of Palmerston North, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the drainage easement over the part of Lot 14, D.P. 6275, referred to in the said Schedule, created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 330997, Wellington Land Registry, for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of May 1953.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9 acres 2 roods 35.68 perches.

Being part of Rural Sections 285 and 286 of the Township of Palmerston North, and being also part of Lots 11, 20, and 21 on D.P. 254, and part of Lot 14 on D.P. 6275, being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 474, folio 220 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in the City of Palmerston North.
