Proclaiming Maori Land to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 450 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in Her Majesty the Queen.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Bay of Islands County situated in Block XIV, Omapere, and II, Punakitere Survey Districts, containing by admeasurement 2,553 acres 3 roods and 6 perches, more or less, being Punakitere 2B 3D 3, 2B 7P 2, 2B 8ID, and 2B 9 Blocks. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.L. 13561, deposited in the Office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of May 1953.

Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 454 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 29.7 perches, more or less, known as Pouto 2E 6 Block, situate in Blocks I and II, Okaka Survey District, County of Hobson, being the whole of the land comprised and described in Provisional Register, Volume 59, folio 47 (Auckland Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of April 1953.

Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 33.9 perches, more or less, being Lot 10 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37863, being part Clendon's Grant and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1004, folio 33 (Auckland Registry.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of April 1953.
