A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a police-station; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 27th day of April 1953.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:-

0 0 39.9 Lots 19 and 20, D.P. 650, being part Section 1;
coloured orange.
0 0 9 Part Lot 21, D.P. 650, being part Section 1;
coloured blue.
Situated in Block XIV, Apiti Survey District. (S.O.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 139910,
coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the estate held by Lawrence Dalby Carter, of Napier,
formerly of Kaiwaka, Retired, under and by virtue of a lease
under section 4 of the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act
1915, recorded in the Register-book H.B. Volume 98, folio 17,
in the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a soil-conservation reserve; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of
April 1953.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken, subject as to the land first described in the said
Schedule, to the pipe-line easement appurtenant to Lot 1, D.P.
9473, granted by Memorandum of Transfer No. 191736
(Canterbury Land Registry), for a secondary school; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 27th day of April 1953.
