DECLARATION BY AN ASSISTANT REGISTRAR DISSOLVING A SOCIETY

I, JOHN JACKSON SLADE, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Anglican Boys’ Homes Society, Diocese of Wellington, New Zealand, Incorporated, is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows :

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purposes of carrying out footpath construction and providing a public convenience in the Ruawai Township, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence half-penny in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County Township of Ruawai; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933 that at an extraordinary meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on 24 November 1952, the following special resolution was passed :—

“That the activities of the company be terminated and that the company be voluntarily wound-up, and that NOEL ELLIS TAYLOR, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Extension Loan 1952, £9,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Grey Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to be raised by the Grey Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for extending the electrical reticulation of the Power Board’s District, the said Grey Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought two six eight pence (.0268d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Grey Electric-power Board District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off ; and that special rate is hereby pledged and appropriated to the said loan of £9,000.”
