The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification—
No. D. 4187 : Code of Building Terminology (Letters L to R)

NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand
Standard Specification is now being circulated to affected
interests for consideration and comment. The closing date fixed
for such comment is 31 December 1952.

All persons who may be affected by this specification once it
has been declared a standard specification by the Minister of
Industries and Commerce may, at any time before the closing date
for comments, obtain, on application, free copies from the New
Zealand Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton
Quay (P.O. Box 195), Wellington, so as to have opportunity to con-
sider the draft and to comment thereon to the Standards Council
or to an appropriate committee of the Council in accordance with
subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 194l.

in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act
1926.

BOROUGH OF OTAHUHU

War Memorial Civic Centre Additional Loan 1952

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, I
hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of
Otahuhu, taken on the 15th day of November 1952, on the proposal
of the Otahuhu Borough Council to borrow the sum of £100,850 for
the purpose of meeting the additional cost of erecting, furnishing,
and laying out the grounds of a War Memorial Civic Centre, the
number of votes recorded for and against the proposal was as
follows:

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

Sale of Unclaimed Property

TT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the
T Police at Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Palmerston North,
Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill
Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, 13 December 1952,
be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained
from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the
