                                                                                                INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL
                                                                                                RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

                                                                                                IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
                                                                                                behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, and of all other
                                                                                                powers (if any) thereunto enabling, the Inglewood County Council
                                                                                                hereby resolves as follows :—
                                                                                                “That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest
                                                                                                and principal and other charges on the Tarata Bridge Replacement
                                                                                                Loan No. 2, 1952, of £2,700, authorized to be raised by the Ingle-
                                                                                                wood County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
                                                                                                purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the estimated increased
                                                                                                cost of the new bridge being constructed over the Waitara River
                                                                                                at Tarata, on the Inglewood-Purangi Main Highway No. 820, the
                                                                                                said Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special
                                                                                                rate of 0·0795 pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the
                                                                                                basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole
                                                                                                of the County of Inglewood ; and that such special rate shall be
                                                                                                an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
                                                                                                payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
                                                                                                the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or
                                                                                                until the loan is fully paid off.”
                                                                                                The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants
                                                                                                of the County of Inglewood was hereunto affixed at the office of
                                                                                                and pursuant to a resolution of the Inglewood County Council in
                                                                                                the presence of—

                                                                                                We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
                                                                                                of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Inglewood County Council
                                                                                                held in the Council Chambers, Rata Street, Inglewood, on the 10th
                                                                                                day of November 1952, and as appearing in the minutes of such
                                                                                                meeting.

                                                                                                NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 241 of the

                                                                                                RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
                                                                                                IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
                                                                                                behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and amendments
                                                                                                thereto, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
                                                                                                “That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
                                                                                                charges on a loan of £7,500, known as “Water Reticulation
                                                                                                Extension Loan 1952”, authorized to be raised by the Kaikohe
                                                                                                Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
                                                                                                of extending the water-reticulation within the Borough of Kaikohe,
                                                                                                the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
                                                                                                special rate of one and a half pence (1½d.) in the pound (£) upon the
                                                                                                rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable
                                                                                                property in the Borough of Kaikohe; and that such special rate
                                                                                                shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
                                                                                                and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day
                                                                                                of December in each and every year during the currency of such
                                                                                                loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully
                                                                                                paid off.”
                                                                                                I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed
                                                                                                at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council held on the 17th
                                                                                                November 1952.

                                                                                                NORTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
                                                                                                RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
                                                                                                IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
                                                                                                by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and all other powers
                                                                                                enabling it thereto, the North Canterbury Electric-power Board
                                                                                                hereby resolves as follows :—
                                                                                                “That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment
                                                                                                of principal, and other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to
                                                                                                be raised by the North Canterbury Electric-power Board under the
                                                                                                provisions of the Electric-power Boards Act 1925 and amendments,
                                                                                                and the Statutes Amendment Act 1938, for the purpose of pro-
                                                                                                viding moneys for the construction of staff dwellings, the North
                                                                                                Canterbury Electric-power Board makes and levies a special rate
                                                                                                of one seventy-fifth of a penny (⅟75d.) in the pound on the capital
                                                                                                value of all rateable property in the North Canterbury Electric-
                                                                                                power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually
                                                                                                recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable
                                                                                                yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during
                                                                                                the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five years,
                                                                                                or until the loan is fully paid off.”
                                                                                                I, Henry Thompson Metherell, Chairman of the North Canter-
                                                                                                bury Electric-power Board, do hereby certify that the above
                                                                                                resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the North Canterbury
                                                                                                Electric-power Board held in Rangiora on the 18th day of November
                                                                                                1952.

                                                                                                NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY WINDING UP
                                                                                                PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act 1933 notice
                                                                                                is hereby given that on the 10th day of November 1952 the
                                                                                                above-named company, by entry in its minute book duly signed and
                                                                                                passed the following resolution :—
                                                                                                “That the Vivex Private Hotel and Restaurant, Limited, be
                                                                                                wound up voluntarily.
