Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in Maniototo County (Notice No. Ag. 5358)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Maniototo County Council on the 28th day of August 1952.
RESOLUTION
The Council take over the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, as from the 1st November 1952.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Maniototo County (Notice No. Ag. 5359)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Maniototo County Council on the 23rd day of October 1952.
SPECIAL ORDER
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Maniototo County Council hereby resolves by way of special order to declare as noxious weeds within the county, the plants specified in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in Horowhenua County (Notice No. Ag. 5360)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following special order made by the Horowhenua County Council on the 8th day of October 1952.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the County of Horowhenua:—

Barberry (Berberis vulgaris).
Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum).
Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha and Crataegus monogyna).
Spiderwort (Leycesteria formosa).
St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum).
Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
T'auhinu or New Zealand cotton-wood (Cassinia leptophylla or cassinia fulvida).

The Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1952
PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Regulations 1949*, the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

This notice may be cited as the Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1952.

This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the publication thereof in the Gazette.

The Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1943 and amendments thereof are hereby revoked.
-
The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
THE LEVIN MILK DELIVERY NOTICE 1952
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires:—
"The district" means the Levin Borough and that portion of the Horowhenua County delineated by the demarkation of zones on the plan.
"The plan" means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes in the Head Office of the Marketing Department at Wellington under No. MD 119/1.
"Zone" means a zone of the district as marked on the said plan.
"Milk" includes cream.
(2) Deliveries of milk under contract to schools are excluded from this scheme.
(3) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows:—

The Mount Wellington Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1952
PURSUANT to the Licensing Trusts Act 1949 and the Local Licensing Trusts Regulations 1949, the Minister of Justice hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Mount Wellington Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1952.
-
There is hereby constituted a local licensing Trust, to be called the Mount Wellington Licensing Trust.
-
(1) The first election of members of the Trust shall be held on Saturday, the 28th day of February 1953.
(2) The Returning Officer for the first election of members of the Trust shall be Lionel Arthur Young, Town Clerk of the Mount Wellington Borough Council.
-
The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the Trust shall be the whole of the area within the boundaries of the Borough of Mount Wellington as from time to time constituted.
-
The area within which the Trust may expend or distribute profits pursuant to subsection (1) of section 44 of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949 shall be the whole of the area within the boundaries of the Borough of Mount Wellington as from time to time constituted.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a Testing Officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—
A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize them while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
