AIR FORCE RESERVE
Appointments
Richard John Kitchener Hogg, D.S.O., D.F.C. (131459), is granted a commission in the General Duties Branch of the Active Reserve for a period of four years with the temporary rank of Squadron Leader and with seniority as from 6 July 1942. Dated 18 May 1950.
Lloyd Thomson HUNTER (130855) is granted a commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division) of the General Reserve for a period of four years with the rank of Flight Lieutenant. Dated 2 October 1952.

Introduction of Certain Goods Permitted Under the Stock Act 1908 (Notice No. Ag. 5357)
Pursuant to section 19A of the Stock Act 1908, as inserted by section 6 of the Stock Amendment Act 1952, the Minister of Agriculture hereby grants general permission to any person to introduce or import into New Zealand-
- The carcass or any part of the carcass of any bird or reptile, or of any mammal (other than stock) for educational, museum, or scientific purposes ;
- The hide, skin, or fur of any reptile or of any mammal (other than stock) provided such hide, skin, or fur has been dyed, tanned, dressed, processed or treated otherwise than by drying, freezing, or chilling ;
- Rabbit skins from Australia ;
- The feathers of any bird other than feathers intended to be used for fly-tying purposes, provided such feathers have been cleaned and dyed or otherwise processed or treated;
- Hatching eggs of domestic fowls, ducks, geese, and turkeys from Australia upon the following conditions:
(1) That every consignment of hatching eggs is accompanied by a certificate signed by a veterinary officer in the employ of the Commonwealth of Australia or the State from which the eggs are despatched, or by a veterinarian approved by that State to the effect:-
(a) That the breeding stock, both male and female, from which the eggs were taken were blood-tested for pullorum disease within four months of the date of the despatch of the eggs;
(b) That when tested reeding stock from which the eggs were taken did not give more than 5% reactors to the test;
(c) That the health of the breeding stock at the date of despatch of the eggs was entirely satisfactory.
(2) That on arrival in New Zealand the eggs are inspected and passed by an Inspector appointed under the Stock Act 1908.
