Decisions of the Bureau of Industry Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936, the following
decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Miss P. D. M. Tyers, 73 Joll Road, Havelock North For a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Karamu Road (between Duchess Crescent and Frederick Street), Hastings Declined 20 Oct. 1952.
M. F. Allen, care of Mrs. P. R. Skilton, 3 Main Road, Wakatu, Nelson For a licence to operate a new pharmacy at corner of Hampden Street West and St. Vincent Street, Nelson Granted 20 Oct. 1952.
Mortimer's Garage Ltd., Gisborne For permission to shift one pump from its present position in Customhouse Street, Gisborne, to a new site at garage premises at 110 Lowe Street, Gisborne Granted (subject to the condition that a bona fide repair service be provided to the satisfaction of the Bureau) 20 Oct. 1952.

F. M. Percy, Scarp Street, Karitane For a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside store premises at Scarp Street, Karitane Declined 20 Oct. 1952.
H. F. Loper and Sons, Main South Road, Pareora For a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on store premises at Main South Road, Pareora Declined 20 Oct. 1952.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act 1936

Pharmacy Industry
A. S. Moulden, 65 McLean Street, Waitara, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 2 Breakwater Road, New Plymouth.
D. W. Mowlem, 302 College Street, Palmerston North, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at corner of Rangiora and Andrew Avenues, Roslyn, Palmerston North.
Myra Evaline Bayly, Albany-Dairy Flat, R.D. Albany, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Manly, Auckland.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Picton Taxis, Ltd., Picton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on service-station and taxi premises on the waterfront at Picton near the post-office.

E. J. Miller, Picton, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed garage premises at 1 Auckland Street, Picton.
South Island Tyre Sales and Salvage Co., Ltd., Lincoln Road, Christchurch, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 297 Lincoln Road, Christchurch.
Taylor's Well Drilling Co., Ltd., Wansbeck Street Extension, Oamaru, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on engineering premises at Wansbeck Street Extension, Oamaru.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 20 November 1952, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
