Land Subject to the Housing Act 1919 Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940 I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Lot 17 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 15101, being part Rural Section 8767, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 486, folio 14 (Canterbury Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of October 1952.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 25·56 perches, more or less, being Lot 27 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier under No. 8052, being part Heretaunga Block, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 111, folio 159 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Humphrey Francis O’Leary, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 11th day of October 1920 and gazetted on the 14th day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, being part Provisional State Forest Reserve 1592, situated in Block III, Mawheranui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 10/98/80r, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 4582.)
